It's not the $35.00 ticket that I have a problem with. (actually Buffett is being pretty cool about the price. He could be asking a lot more and still sell out) it is the $15.00 extra charges and the $10.00 parking fee that is holding me back.

the ticket prices are out of hand, pavillion seats the same price for every spot no matter if you sit up front or sit way back, and yes, I'm a Buffett fan from way back so I always try to sit up front, but there's no way I will pay this.

This is not Buffett only.....nor Star Lake only.....it happends at all pavillions for all concerts around the nation....stop crying
pavillions aren't that big...you are gauranteed a spot to sit.....covered from the rain....you don't have to rush the lawn and can enjoy the tailgating up until kick-off...
can I ask you a question? what do you think the prices should be for each of the three tiers?

Me, I'd like to see a mid-range price of about $80 for back-of-the-pavilion seats - probably the back sections under cover, and the uncovered ones. Seems reasonable to me.

As I said the ticket price is not bad. $36.00 to sit in the mud. I want to know what kind of service I'm getting for my $10.00 service fee? $10.00 more dollars to park my car in the only lot (gravel) for miles. But as the market shows.... If I'm stupid enough to pay it, The company is smart enough to take my money ( and hold it for 3 months collecting interest on it).

Actually, that's not true for Starlake. There are many rows in the back of the pavilion that are not covered at all. Heck, if you're going to be in the elements anyway, why not sit another 30 feet back and have a lot more room? There definitely needs to be a pricing tier.

I've been to many shows in the past 15 years in both arenas (this year in Tallahassee as well as other locations) and pavillions (under cover in the pavillion and on the lawn). The lawn is a much better place to have a good time and be with fellow fans. I had 5th row in Tallahassee and I would have much rather paid the $100 or so to sit on the lawn.

..it is a pavillion my friend, it is not an arena, some locations will be near the elements...heck, i was getting wet at DMB at nissan pavillion last year and i had dead center, 100 level tickets....like I said, you are are guaranteed a seat, you don't have to rush the lawn and can enjoy the tailgating up until kick-off

I don't remember crying, perhaps a little whining, but definitely not crying. Do you work for Star Lake?

Well, I pulled up Section 6, Row X - in the uncovered part of the pavilion - for $126 plus about $14 in charges. For $140, Jimmy can (and easily will) get someone else to buy the ticket.
I'll be joining the growing legions of folks listening to RM and partying at home.
Now to hope for a Detroit or Toronto date...

I got in right away-asked for a single ticket/best available.
After waiting for nearly 20 minutes and being told my wait time was "10 minutes," I got one for section 5, row K.
Apparently there was a HUGE pre-sale for this venue.
(BTW-I'm
not going to Pittsburgh-I was helping a friend get tickets).
To everyone going-have fun and have a Corona for me.
