That would be the day before my birthday and it's one I've always wanted to go to - fingers crossed!

Too funny. I literally just booked at the Holiday Inn in Westbury. It is about a 15 minute drive. Nice place. I choose Holiday Inn's because if the show doesn't happen you can cancel easily. Go for it!

Jones Beach, great venue so-so parking lot.

He has that week off between Gillette shows so you would think he will play somewhere in the MA/CT/NY area that week. Although that might be a tad late and chilly for a Jones Beach show. Mohegan Sun is probably a safer bet for a show that week with late June a better choice for Jones Beach.

It definitely ain't chilly in early September on LI...I HOPE it's September rather than June 30th!! I can't believe I'll be away

not right there but not too far. The town of Wantagh has tons of bars....

I hope everyone is right about this, I had pretty much dismissed the idea that he would play JB this year. That would be right before a break in his touring schedule so it wouldnt be too far fetched and the date is open on the JB calendar. I think it was July 1st that he played last year so the timing is right in line....crossing my fingers here!!!

He Played there July 1st last year!!! and it was beautiful out!!...Then he will take time off and then do the midwest swing starting July 21st.

JB last year was an incredible day!! Perfect beach weather. My favorite part about that show is watching all the reaction of all the people who are just there to spend the day at the beach. Their faces are priceless when they see all the craziness happening in the parking lot!!!

I hope this June 30th rumor pans out... That would be perfect! A nice little warm up before the mid-west!

Thanks for info everybody. My buddy and I are looking to go on a road trip this summer and catch another show outside our local venue. Just wanted to make sure travel to and from the show was easy as well as many local drinking establsihments to pregame at. Let me know if you think of or know of cool places for us to hit up.

Its been 13 years since my first show at Jones Beach-pregame there-never had a problem getting in early-regret not getting there early last year to find the buffet news flag-11:30 way to late-didn't recognize tommy until later in the parking lot
As far as bars head north from JB up wantagh pkway and north on wantagh ave-The wantagh In/mulchaeys/boss croakers are all good bars-Heminways used to have a post concert party-if not take the train east or west and explore

probably read it here.... i've heard so many BN shout outs lately on RM... Listening to RM while stuck studying all weekend helps keep me sane, even if it can be a bit distracting.... I finally get into the relationship between commerce clause and the 10th amendment and then "hot hot hot" comes on and i start boogying down... i'm sure everyone in the library is amused at this point... and i'm rambling. but i bet they read it on here. HI RADIO MARGARITAVILLE!!!!!
