Haven't heard any rumours concerning Jones Beach in a couple days. HG, anything from your sources? I went ahead and booked a hotel just in case so hopefully June 30th will be the date.

that is why I always try to use a Holiday Inn. Easy cancellation. I have faith about the show . . .

I'm getting ready to sacrifice a bucket of fried chicken to Jobu for a Jones Beach confirmation!

Now that the tix for Camden are all gone..I'd expect an announcement soon for the Saturday show. It seems they make sure 1 show is sold out before they announce another. Though I'd prefer Jones Beach myself, I'm thinking it's going to be Mohegan Sun.

may I ask why you think Mohegan? Just curious. I love New England and all but I love Jones Beach way more than a cramped casino in the back woods of nowwhere. Love Jimmy at the beach. I was thinking Jones Beach just because he would be on his way back to the Hamptons before the mid west run in July.

Wasn't the Mohegan Sun thing a 3 year deal? He's only done 2 shows there so it makes sense.

may I ask why you think Mohegan? Just curious. I love New England and all but I love Jones Beach way more than a cramped casino in the back woods of nowwhere. Love Jimmy at the beach. I was thinking Jones Beach just because he would be on his way back to the Hamptons before the mid west run in July.

He does have a 3 year contract with Mohegan..so i'm betting there will be a date..but i see that one around the Gillette dates......and has fulfilled 2 years!!!...That backwoods of nowhere brings in millions of people monthly!!

do you work for Mohegan? I know it is popular and I go every now and then but not for Buffett. I need Jimmy to be out doors. And by the ocean is even better.

Yes you may... I would really prefer Jones Beach, nice area, great lot, can get there super early, the beach is right there & it's a nice venue. Since I prefer to be there, consequently, it will be somewhere else.

I am thinking that Mohegan is a lock and Jones is almost a lock and that will be it for the summer. Fall will see the CA and HA run with LV falling somewhere.

If Jones is announced it will most likely be next week.

I am at the Holiday Inn in Westbury. About 10 minutes or so . . . in is the closest Holiday Inn - I think.

I have a couple rooms reserved at the Marriott in Uniondale. It cost a bit more to just reserve the rooms instead of prepaying, but with the uncertainity of a show here, I don't mind paying a bit more with the option of cancelling with no penalty.

Last year we stayed at the Best Western Bar Harbour which was about 15 minutes away.

Holiday Inns allow you to cancel up to 6PM the day of reservation without penalty. I cancel on them about a dozen times a year. If Jones Beach is a no go then Westbury will have an open room June 30th.

Haven't heard anything, and usually the guys will drop hints and what not about the shows. It could go either way at this point I guess. But if I do get a confirmation either way, ya'll will know for sure! I'd love a JB show this summer!!! One of my favorite shows! (and i would be a nice warm upf for the road trip!)

You would think he would be playing somewhere between the 2 Gillette shows. Mohegan Sun would seem like the logical spot. But since when has logic played a part in his tour dates?

I'm guessing the Atlanta, Charlotte, and Jones Beach dates will come out at the same time, soon hopefully!!!

Don't give up on the 30th yet!!!
