That is awesome. I kind of figured that if this Jones Beach thing is a go that it will be announced after Anguilla. I imagine that all of Jimmy's creative thoughts are down island way at the moment.

I know asking for Jimmy at Jones Beach two years in a row is a lot, but didn't he promise that at MSG last year??

For what it's worth...a person i work with out of our New York Office ...heard a radio ad for Jones Beach and it's summer schedule and it mentioned Jimmy Buffett!!.....he doesn't remember if dates were mentioned!!

If the only NY venue this year is MSG, what a shame. Madison Square Garden is not a venue for Jimmy! What's better than sitting in the stands at Jones Beach and watching Jimmy Buffett perform with the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean. Also, where the heck do you tail gate at MSG! We did both last year and believe me, the Jones Beach parking lot was a lot better than 7th Avenue in Manhattan.

Sounds to me like no Jones Beach this year. If that's true, it's going to be very sad for a lot of Long Island Parrot Heads. Please, say it ain't so!!!

Well, I could use another shot a MSG- last year pretty much blew. GF at the time just didn't get it (don't take someone not from the country to a show). Seats around us were pretty much empty and these were the $200 level! A Waste! But Fingers showed, so for me it was worth it!

well the 7th of July is still open at Jones Beach...according to the schedule i saw!!!

Forget it folks...any possibility of a '07 Jones Beach show is history.

We MIGHT go to MSG...I really can't believe we're going to go without a JB tailgate this year!
