there's usually a cell list that we all get distributed. Someone going to the concert usually volunteers to put it all together. So just make sure to get on the list and it will be sent to you before the concert. that way you can call us and figure out where everyone will be. usually works out fairly well...
HG, I need some worldly advice - Our roadtrip is set-up for the Chi-Napol-Nati leg. Though the Alpine thread has me rethinking our plan and we can't squeeze all 4.

It seems you have been to all; would you stay the course or swap Tinley for Alpine?
In my opinion, I prefer Alpine over Tinley. Tinley's ok, but it's defeinitely no Alpine. But that's me. I'm sure there are some people who prefer Tinley over Alpine. There reason I don't really like Tinley is because they're not as cool about the whole tailgating thing as Alpine is. And Alpine is a much better venue to see a concert (if you're in the pavillion). I mean, either way I'm sure you'll have a kick a$$ time, but Alpine is always an amazing time. And plus the night before there's this parrothead ball in Janesville which is always awesome. So, I recommend Alpine. (You really should just do the whole week!!!! Tinley - Alpine!!!)

I knew you were gonna go there! Did someone say WORK?

Me, I'd prefer to be singing & ordering drinks.....

OH Well, what to do. Thanks!

Looked over our planner one more time to see if we could add a 4th stop to our BuffettWeek2007 and it just won't fit :(

I guess we now have to plan another trip next year, or so, revolving around Alpine if it's that good.

Although.... You guys do have 3 shows to convince us that we just can't miss Alpine; once in that debaucherous state of mind anything is possible :o (well almost anything)

This will be our first trip to this venue.
We've been to:
Tampa- with the 'keet so zero tailgate
San Diego- Decent tailgate but pretty low key
Alpine- Best pre-show atmosphere we've seen
Tinley- Been too many times to count now, tailgate is awesome one year, lousy the next.

So my question is, what should we expect from Indy? How early can we get on the lot, is one area better than another, etc. Can a vet out there help a brother out and give me the low down?

Where abouts? I'm in Fishers.
I am in one of those many subdivisions off of Cumberland by 37. Oh yeah, and scratch what I said about 18 tickets. Ticketmaster caught that two of them had the same billing address even though they were different cards and took 6 away. So now I have 12 and 6 upset parrotheads!

Gotta love the Cappy P tailgate... it's truly an amazing experience....

And there's nothing like attempting to play twister on the grass... good times!

Indy is a nice venue to see him, especially if you have a lovely dance partner.

Great. Mrs. maufro certainly meets that criteria!

How crowded does the lawn get?

Here in WPB there was plenty of dancing room, but the last couple times at Camden it sucked. They really pack'em in, barely enough room to stand.

Ticket Gods were not that kind to us this time, so for now we're lawn bound at Indy & Cincy.
