This seems kinda promising now. Think about this...

The Toronto date was announced today, and it was NOT on the t-shirts (I think), only on the rumor list.

The only other date on the rumor list, but NOT on the t-shirts, is in NC (Charlotte, but I'm personally hoping it's Raleigh)

Something to think about...

We are the only rumored show!!!

ok, so maybe it's nothing to get excited about. Our September/October is busy. I wish the date would be announced, so we can plan the rest of our lives![

Rumored to Reality?

Post by ParrotHeadlostinNCmtns »

We have been waiting a long time, holding out hope for a NC show... We can't be let down.

I wonder if it's a problem in negotiations with Verizon (I don't know why as JB has played there plenty of times). He got wet last year and I am sure that could potentially cause problems with electricution, but I would hope they have fixed the roof where it leaked...

Need a date so we can plan the rest of the summer...

Thanks for the info on the WNCPH club - I will be in contact.

Hope you all are having a great Tuesday, wish we were at a JB show.

July Flocking

Post by ParrotHeadlostinNCmtns »

I am not sure. With a 4 year old and being several hours away we have some logistics to work out...

It would do my spirit good to meet some new PHs. I am alway up for fun, meeting new people, BBQ, cold beer and Buffett.

I also saw Chesney, Gretchen Wilson, and somebody else (forgot who--they must have been real good  ) at Verizon after Buffett, in the rain, and none of those perfomers complained of getting wet or water leaking...they may have had that problem fixed immediately after Jimmy perfomed!!!

Phlocking

BTW, I am from Morganton and my parents still live there.

f2cdlzrd-

I checked out your web site - it is very impressive. My wife just couldn't get off early enough last night to make it to CIP in time. We are planning on being there July 5th.

I think it is great your group supports the Rathbun Center - I had a stroke on 2-3-04 (when I was 28) and was in Baptist for about 2 weeks then Thomes for a month after that, and my wife stayed many nights at the Rathbun House. It was really a blessing.

How much is the BVI trip? I couldn't tell an actual price for that or the November trip to Key West... I bet both would be a blast.

Thanks for the info.

I am going with Sunseeker on this one - Jimmy has not skipped NC since 1985 (I think). I am trying to figure out a free date at Walnut Creek - Saturday of course but Friday would work too....and heck lets roll in Asheville, Greensboro and Columbia and MBSC on my wish list tour.

I had heard some vague rumors about problems with him and Alltel - anyone have any more details? Maybe since it is now called JUST Walnut Creek (again I think) - they have hopefully kissed and made up and tour dates to be listed soon???
And raccoons brought wine and the mice they brought cheese...

Jimmy mentioned tonight during the Camden show that the tour was wrapping up in Hawaii in October. I don't like the sound of that!
