Sports Illustrated CD

Post by JustDucky »

I've been out of the loop on the road for a while. I couldn't find anything on the SI CD. I never saw one. Was there one? I haven't even used my code for the video or all the other options. What, is it you can get it from iTunes but watch it on marg.com? What's the point of doing iTunes if you can get it from marg?

No there wasn't a CD. You had to get it from iTunes.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

On page 56, 3'rd column, 1'st full sentence, it says " In this issue you'll find another CD with a catchy new Buffett song,Getting the Picture........"

Who said I only looked at the pictures.

We thought we got screwed, till we went to another store and checked their copies.

So SI lied and not one copy had a CD with it. Correct? Like you said, it clearly states that there is a CD within the magazine somewhere.

And there is not.

does anyone have a copy of the song? I have a code I can PM it to you, it works but I don't have an account and don't feel like creating one. basically, if anyone has an account and wants my code and agrees to send the Jimmy song to me, I can pm it to you.

Thanks

Ah, so that's the deal. I was in Chicago a couple weeks ago, and while buying yet another Chi-area map (it's what we do when we go to IL), I thumbed through an SI. No CD, no buy. Now I have to get to the local bookstore and hope they still have one available. :P

I'm trying to imagine the look on the clerks face when you were returning the swimsuit issue.

Fine, actually. I told her why I'd bought it, she just looked for the CD like I did, didn't find it and gave me the refund (Target). It might be a bit tougher for guys to get a refund on that, but then it's probably a heck of a lot less awkward for them to buy it in the first place.... :o

When my son and I were flipping through the rest of the mags seeing if they had the CD, I gave up trying to convince the clerk that our mission was sincere. I can just see her telling her co-workers about that weirdo with his kid getting off on the swimsuit edition yet too cheap to purchase a copy for themselves.

Did you shake it upside down like a red-headed step child? I did. I slammed it down on the counter too. I even bent it. NOTHING. The chick behind the counter then went to the box it came in and said None of them have CDs - do you still want it?

I bought it anyway. Why not?

I've Looked also Their isn't a CD. When You Enter the code on Itunes it gives you The Video For Getting the Picture 2 Sports Illustrated Model Videos, and a Lil' Wayne/Birdman Song. Did it do this for everyone else? Thanks

Did anyone get The Subway code to Get Pictures. Please Post it if you do.

I'm not sure why, but usually I treat my red -headed step child more like a blond 3'rd cousin. Maybe that's why he's in therapy.
