The eastern US will be able to view the moon as it turns shades of amber and crimson.

Not sure if we here in New England can see it tonight, supposed to cloud over by tonight and possibly rain.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

the last time I saw that, a bottle of Leinie's Red was coming toward my head out of the moonlight... :)

clear off and on all day, more clear than cloudy..until just before we should have been able to see it here in coastal southeastern Georgia...darn luck!

We didn't get to see the eclipse, per se, as the sun was still out in Texas when the moon was fully eclipsed.
But we watched it emerge from the eclipse into a nice full moon.
