BTW.. Be very ready to work 18 hour days
live on the phone and .. This would be the hardest
part for me.. To deal with the gladhanders, the ones wanting
"deals" and special offers.. only the best will do for those pholks.
I'm going to borrow a little Glen Frey..
"theres's lot's of shady charactors and lot's of dirty deals"

One on hand there seems to be a firm enforced "Ticket scalping is not permitted " policy here but on the other hand there are unlimited ads promoting it.
I've had that same thought, too. But realize the advertising is there to help phjim pay for maintaining this site.
The ads that appear are generally linked to what you type...I was amused last week when an ad to buy Warren Buffett's book kept popping up.

If nothing else, the ads make us aware of options if we want to buy tickets elsewhere.
I have experience using Google ads so I know how it works. The person who runs this site submits what types of ads they want to display on this site, if they don't want a particular ad to display they can stop it. I understand 100% ads help pay for this site but with that said, would it then be OK for me to sell 2 Buffett tickets for say $100 over face value and give the site owner a cut of the profits? Would that make it OK?
The point is, people here shouldn't complain abut scalpers and brokers when those same scalpers and brokers are helping pay for this very site with their ads.

Sounds good to me. I have no problem with anyone selling tickets over face value. If the tickets were priced more appropriately, reselling over face would not be as prevalent.

I agree...raise the ticket prices and keep out some of those people who are constantly complaining about prices!
