Me too
(but then again I'm at the shore 365 days a year ;-)

I've already told hubby that I'm sick and I can't go into work Friday morning. Gotta love self-employment at times :-) The conx at the office is dial up so I must stay home if there's any chance at all.
Looking into the bus from Manahwkin this year too.
We'll try for tickets and then make a decision as to what to do. I don't think my two boys will be happy if they have to leave the shore for a day, even if it is for Jimmy Buffett. :o
Which area of the Jersey Shore? I'm on LBI.
If it's my area, perhaps I can help with a reputable sitter.

SOUNDS LIKE A PRE-BAMA BREEZE PARTY ON LBI!

Post by LBIPATTI »

Whaddya know? There is life on LBI in March. :D
Thanks for the "Welcome". Love this site and was great meetin' alot of you at Mo's prior to the MSG show last year in NYC! Live off Long Beach Island (Little Egg) and spend quite a bit of time (and $$$) there as well as MARTELLS in Point Pleasant. I'm sure the Dr. Cheeko band won't mind if we all meet a week before the show at Martell's! Whaddya say???? [smilie=superkewl.gif]

Welcome Conch Harbor, Hope to see you in Camden! :P Look for the "YesIamA-IrishPirate" Tiki Bar and introduce yourself :wench:
Thank you very much! i look forward to meeting a lot of folks this year. Last year i go there too late and was stuck atop of the parking garage. But i persevered and made the best of it! [smilie=giggle.gif]

Bummed about no Great Woods this year. But my buddies and I decided we had to go to try to go to Buffett this year (3 year tradition now!) So hopefully I can score some tickets. No class on Fridays so I'm going to have my roomate going at it for me as well.

How is Camden as a venue/tailgate?

Personally speaking, I think its awesome! Lots of friendly people, there are the occassional A-holes, but every venue has those. Just leave the whippets at home, they tend to annoy everyone, esp. Camdens finest. Saw many arrests last year!

I'm still unhappy that DH waited until so late in the day to leave that I missed you totally. Maybe I'll come with a girlfriend this year......earlier....much earlier!

Freakin' husband! Bring a single girl friend for me! I still have the CD I made for you with my tailgate stuff.

Excellent, I can't wait. It will be nice not to have to wait all summer for the show.

I hope Mick makes those jello shots this year, they were a big hit.

I still tell that story about pulling into the lot at the same moment you guys did, that was a great coincidence.

For the record, the saline incident was completely planned for hydration. This year I'm actually coming to the show with the IV line already in that way I can just hook up the line when needed. Its good to be in the medical field.

BeachBumm and PATTI,

Shoot me your vital info via PM. I need email address, real first name, BN name and how many are in your group. I'll get a little more info from you once we get closer to the show date.

Good luck getting tickets tomorrow everyone. Unfortunately I'm at a training class in Florida so i have to rely on some friends to log into TM for me. Hopefully all works out.

Pending a good outcome tomorrow, I'll be there.

I think I'll take the whole day off this year. Last year I tried to squeeze it in after a half-day of work...just not the right mood.

Hopefully it will be 10-15 degrees cooler this year!

Considering it was 100 degrees + the blacktop factor, I'm hoping for 20 degrees cooler

Funny you mention that, firehose was added to my list of tailgate items after last year.

Got your PM, btw.
