I don't think you are wrong at all. I don't know if it's because the concert is so early this year or if we are all busy with that other thing we do ... life ... I think we will see more activity in the next few days. We only have 2 weekends to left for shopping afterall....

BTW, Welcome to the BN family. We have a bunch of fun here...

My opinion, for what it's worth (and it's late and I've a few....several cocktails) is that Camden's become a kind of comfortable annual spot, so there is an unspoken understanding of who's going to be there. This will be my first Camden show having met all these crazy bn'ers, and I think that's going to make what is usually a great experience even better. And welcome aboard!

I should have left all my typos. It would have proven how late/drunk it/I was [smilie=blush.gif] [smilie=blush.gif] [smilie=blush.gif]

Welcome :D

I think a lot of us have just been very tied up with other things recently, so it's kind of taken taken us away from the board a bit. I know I haven't seen some of the regular camden crowd that I know will be there posting as regularly as years past (myself included), but that certainly doesn't mean we won't all be there having as good a time as we always do! :D :D Hope to see you there!!

Dear heavens, I can't believe we're under the 2 week mark. It's almost time for me to go food shopping and bake cookies.

I ordered them specially to make the key lime cookies and the pie for the concert. Figured this year I would go authentic.

(the toy in front of them is a Saber-toothed lime, from a game I play). I call him the Lord of the Limes

Is there a point where everybody posts what they're bringing and this gets compared with a list of what is needed? This way I can see what to bring. Like maybe everybody brings one basic like napkins or charcoal and one luxury like tequila or cookies?

In years past as far as I've been going, we all pretty much bring our own stuff and it is freely shared amongst the groups. Food is never a problem, nor is alcohol or water. As for necessities like plates and whatnot, everyone seems to bring their own table or chairs and setup for those who are able, and those who can't cart all that, just set up camp and whoever they want to.

That's just my view of it. I know blackjack and his wife cook enough food for half the parking lot, I always have an abundance of chicken, burgers, hot dogs, and key lime pie (oh yeah, and cookies, of course  ). Frank always has his tiki bar set up, and there's always a cold case of Corona and limes at our tent.

I don't know if that helps or not, I hope it does :D

and OCG, I am SO happy to see you making it this year!!!!

I'm in extreme prep mode, only 13 more days, currently looking for a canopy and came across this one http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product. ... id=5402993
unfortunately it's only at walmart, being as I dislike the way their employees are treated(lack of benefits, wages, etc...) I don't spend my money there.

As far as what to bring, there is no dedicated list of things to bring... It's great if you bring extras in case someone forgets something, it always happens. Also please don't forget a trash bag or two we don't want our plates and bottles rolling around the parking lots
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do So throw off the bowlines Sail away from the safe harbor Catch the trade winds in your sails Explore Dream Discover

A bedpan with a few holes poked in it placed on top of a 5 gal paint bucket with kitty litter in is a perfect portapotty.
