Top 10 Reasons Jimmy Buffett Will Not Play Denver Anymore

10) Denver Concert Promoters Don’t Know Their A** From Third Base (this one’s true)
9) Can’t Tune Steel Drums At That Altitude
8 ) The Closest Beach Is 1000 Miles Away
7) Mac Can’t Handle The Lack Of Oxygen
6) Heck, Jimmy Plays A Super Small Venue in Aspen, What More Do You Want
5) It’s Only a Little “Cow-Town,” Just A Bunch of Hicks
4) Those Denver “Mosh Pits” Are Way To Rad
3) If “Those People” Want To See Jimmy They Can Go To Vegas
2) “Those People” Are Already A Mile High

and finally

1) There’s No Such Thing as a Parrothead-in-Denver

If it sounds like I’m whining, I am! Jimmy has not paid a visit to the Denver area nor have I had the opportunity to see a show since May 18th, 2004. I hear everyone across the country moaning about having to pay brokers, BLAH-BLAH-BLAH! Heck, right now I’d pay a broker $200 for a lawn ticket, and drive 2 or 300 miles for a show, but that isn’t an option. Why Jimmy neglects the Denver area is beyond me, the Denver shows draw folks from a 5 state region. And yeah, it may not be a huge amount of people, but it has always been enough to sell out every venue Jimmy has played in the Denver area for the past 20+ years.

Yes Jimmy this is a personal invitation (July would be fantastic)! Ignore the lousy promoters and please come see us poor neglected parrotheads in Denver.

P.S. - Thanks for letting me vent :D

Hey there Captain Complainer . . . just because New England has better Buffett stuff going on doesn't mean that when I hit the hills of Vermont to snowboard that I am not thinking of the Rockies . . . . and you guys have Carmelo Anthony.

Ah yes...the tour stop trauma.

The groundhog pops out of his hole, Jimmy announces some tour dates and ticket prices, people complain about missing tour stops and ticket prices, and then it's Spring.

Maybe he doesn't come to Denver because people can't spell the band members' names.

Whenever they talk about Denver, Jimmy says " Bob Denver is dead." " He was funny as Giligan"

... 160 miles into the snowy mountains and ticket/hotel prices usually out of the range of some.
