Has anyone ever taken an RV to Nissan Pavilion?

Have seen JB for years at Nissan but the group is getting bigger and we have access to an RV this year. Is it easy to get in and out of the parking lot with one? Will they have lots just for large vehicles like an RV? Looking for some information.
Thanks.

Yes, they have a dedicated lot. I was passed out in the back, so no idea what it was like to get out.

if driving an RV, do you have to arrive early to get a good spot or will they put you in the lot for this type of vehicle?
thanks!

How early do the lots open ? The earlier the better for us. 9:00am ?
Earlier ? Any campgrounds in the area? We'll be coming down from Jersey and are looking for a spot to stay. Thanks in advance for any input.

We have taken RV's before, here is what I can tell you.
They will not open the lot extremely early for RV's (like 9:00 in the morning). However the lot does open ealry for people in RV's or people in regular vehicles willing to fork out another $20. If you are in an RV it is free. I would contact Nissan directly to find ou that time.
There is an RV lot. Usually you will have more space to set up, as the RV's need more psace to maneuver. Once parked, this maneuver space is open and available for use.
We have been in two separate locations, and the next year the RV lot was in a totally different spot from the first two. We never had an issue getting out, but at the same time, we usually hung out for an hour or so after the show and let the vast horde of concert leavers depart. Since you have the RV, you will have this ability. Get back to the RV, bring out the cooler, have a beverage or two, talk abou the show, and then leave.
Place to camp. Not sure, but Manassas National battlefield is really close to Nissan. It actually borders Nissan. You may want to check with them to see if there are RV lots. Or, find the hotel where the majority of traveling parrotheads are staying and crash in their parking lot. If your conscience does not permit, there is a huge shopping complex right outside the gates, a Lowes, SuperTarget what have you. You may be able to crash there the night before. Just thoughts, not firm answers though, sorry.

My group took one back in '02 and you could park anywhere with them and it was great.
But.........when we did it in '03 you could only park on the blacktop so you had busses and RV's stacked 3 wide in a long line - of course the buses are always running for the A/C so it was diesel fumes in your face and if you weren't on the outside, no ability to open the awning.......
Haven't done it since then, so I don't know how they do it now.........I'm allot of help............
