Of course, with 7000+ posts in a year....

When concert season starts...there are 2 types of threads...

B**ching about ticket prices
B**ching about how commercial Jimmy is...

Just saying that we have seen all this before...

Buffett is god. He can do no wrong. The man is a marketing genius. And we are his flock.

At least Jimmy's not manipulating his fans by selling fan club presales like the Police are doing. To join the fan club it's $100 and I'd hate to see how many people did it just to ensure tickets.

Surfpirate, that is TOO funny ... now could you do that to a jet ski?

That's when I'll know the commercialization has gone too far ... Margaritaville jet skis!

Or when we all book the Coral Reefer package on the cruise ship to Nassau.

I've actually always thought that was on the way.

I'm sure there is a market for some type of parrothead group travel. If we can all go to KW for a weekend, who's to say we can't all pile on a boat for a trip to the Caribbean or all fly to St. Somewhere.

Think of it as the Trails of Margaritaville tour on a boat! :D

What we need is a Margaritaville World Resort :D

Think Disneyland for Parrot Heads :P Get up and have breakfast at the Cafe Du Monde where the coffee is strong and the donuts are too hot to touch. That way just like a fool, when those sweet goodies cool you can eat til you eat way too much. There will be a Jamica Mistake ride, see the freezer with six holes, visit Captain Tony's and Domino College across Rag Top Ave. Buy your gas at the Great Philling Station :D Oh the stories we can make up....

wonder where the samrt girls in the short skirts will be hanging out?
got to stop wishin' got to start fishin'....

My son had a dream about that about 10 years ago, teacup rides were limes, the skyride was margarita glasses and there was an island in the middle of a huge lake with beaches and JB played on that island every night. You had to get on boats to go to the island. He woke me up about 4 am to tell me this. I'll never forget it.
Some will go and some will stay. It doesn't matter anyway ......

I'm aware of the others as well. Grew up in Pensacola, but I still meant their is only one. One that has the kind of atmosphere that makes a place a classic.

edited part: just looked it up and there are actually seven locations. Didn't know that.
