Think Disneyland for Parrot Heads :P Get up and have breakfast at the Cafe Du Monde where the coffee is strong and the donuts are too hot to touch. That way just like a fool, when those sweet goodies cool you can eat til you eat way too much. There will be a Jamica Mistake ride, see the freezer with six holes, visit Captain Tony's and Domino College across Rag Top Ave. Buy your gas at the Great Philling Station :D Oh the stories we can make up....

wonder where the samrt girls in the short skirts will be hanging out?
There's only one cafe du monde
Well, I know of at least four locations of Cafe du Monde...of course, the ORIGINAL is the best one!
I'm aware of the others as well. Grew up in Pensacola, but I still meant their is only one. One that has the kind of atmosphere that makes a place a classic.
Cafe du Monde is selling out and over commercializing!!! And the ultimate in commecial "sell-out"...FOUR mall locations! So much for a classic...

French Market, 800 Decatur Street, New Orleans, La, 70116
Riverwalk Marketplace, One Poydras, Suite 27, New Orleans, La, 70130 New Orleans Centre, 1400 Poydras, Suite 572, New Orleans, La, 70112
Oakwood Mall, 197 Westbank Expressway, Suite 54, Gretna, La, 70053
Lakeside Mall, 3301 Veterans Blvd, Suite 104, Metairie, La, 70002 Open
Esplanade Mall, 1401 West Esplanade, Suite 100, Kenner, La 70065 Open
Veterans Boulevard Location, 4700 Veterans Blvd, Metairie, La, 70006
Mall of Louisiana, Bluebonnet Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA

Soon there will be one on every corner, across from every Starbucks and Margaritaville! :o

What, no aerodynamic fin on the top? Great job surfpirate!

From the world of NASCAR, and being that Landshark is an AB project, don't be surprised to see a Landshark #8 car in the near future. (when they want to go national with the brand) NASCAR= Brand Loyalty
As far as the original post
1. Don't blame JB for living the American Dream
2. How much value from the overall Margaritaville brand (and it's siblings) has funnelled $$$ into the charities that JB's efforts supports
3. If you don't like the products, don't buy them (but there are plenty who will)
4. I think most of us have had an interesting conversation due to talking to someone with JB/M'ville clothing

While I would LOVE to see it happen, it WON'T. :(
Ever since Dale Jr. has drove the #8, it has ALWAYS been Bud. I don't understand, why? Why not a Bud Lite, or any of the others in the AB family? Come to think of it, I don't think ANY of the old Bud cars driven by Schrader, Dallenbach, Craven, or Waltrip carried ANY logo other than Budweiser :-? :o :-?

Yep. Well said.

Lotta money has gone to charities. Lotta money in JB's pocket. So what? He figured out what people want (will buy) and made it available. Any one of us would do the same. Be honest; most of us would, in a heartbeat... Gotta love capitalism!!

No one is forced to go to a Margaritaville... or forced to buy M'Ville branded products. Freedom of choice is also a beautiful thing... Someone said it above: I'm not a lemming... I like the lime shrimp. Don't like the coconut shrimp. Don't like the tequila, except the flavored ones now and again, but only for margaritas. I'll grab a drink at M'Ville, but not exclusively M'Ville in KW because there are so many other great places to visit. I'll buy a shirt if I like the design, but I don't generally buy the trinkets. Just because someone buys a shirt at M'Ville doesn't mean they can't wander way off the beaten path while wearing it.
