Help!!!! I am soooo stupid!

Post by MargaritaMadness »

Well since I had to work today, I was having my husband (who is pretty computer illiterate) go online to buy tickets. On Sunday night, we were practicing buying tickets so that he could see all of the different screens and know what to do so as not to waste critical time on Monday morning. We were messing around with tickets for Houston on April 21 because there were still tickets coming up available and you could go through all the screens. After several trial runs, he was getting pretty good and I was cheering him on...."come on faster, faster!!!!" When we got to the last screen that says "Your credit card WILL be charged", I thought that it said "WILL NOT" be charged. We are now the proud owners of 6 tickets for Houston and we live near Pittsburgh. I immediately called our credit card company and told them not to put the charge through. Unfortunately, they said that the charge had already gone through. I was given a # to call ticketmaster....no one was there. I tried several times today and I kept getting a recording that customer service personnel would not be answering the phones today. I have sent two e-mails and have not gotten any response. My credit card company said that if I couldn't resolve it with ticketmaster to call them back in a couple of days when the purchase has been posted to my account and they will try and dispute it. Does anyone have any suggestions to help an idiot like me out? By the way, my husband did end up getting 8 pavilion for Pittsburgh so I guess that something good came out of the coaching.

Keep trying to contact Ticketmaster.......they may be able to work with you if you explain your situation. You need to contact them ASAP though...don't put it off because it is not normal policy for them to refund purchases. There was a time I bought a few too many tickets and called them immediately and they were able to help. Good luck!

Many folks would love to have your "problem"! You should have no problem selling your tickets to those in the Houston area. Post them under "Ticket Ads"!

I think your hubby wants to go to Houston!

I looked under the ticket exchange and I saw that everyone listed had tickets for sale and there wasn't anyone wanting to buy tickets. Tickets are still available online so I'm afraid that people will just buy them there.

Yeah I know what You mean. I am always getting the tickets that I need. Just last week, I was able to buy 2nd row tickets to cincy, alpine valley and the tweeter/world/midwest bank centre. Then I woke UP!!!!!

The only tickets left are in the 400's online. I've got 3 pair of floor seats, and I'm hoping to find some friends to buy 2 of them before I start offering them to anyone. :)
