I still believe this date to be April 25th. email confirmation and intranet thru Philips shows the 25th. If I hear anything different, I will let you know. The 27th would be before the second tx show. Good luck to all, its JB so I'm going!!!

Just some observations:
It was heard on 92.9? I didn't know anyone really listened to that station.
At Phillips there will be a cross-section of ticket prices.
There won't be any rain to complain about.
It's a slightly better area to venture into.....slightly.
There's skyboxes so if you have a connection with Delta, Coke or any other player, you're set. (Me I'm in the cheap seats probably behind the stage)
The accoustics aren't really THAT bad.
You can still tailgate, it's just that everyone will be spread out in a one square mile area, down alleys, behind overpasses......So there won't be trash piles to drive through after the show.
We just won't have the horses to put the leis on this year.

I'm so confused- Why would Jimmy come from TX the Sat. before and go back to TX the Sat after. Why can't ATL get a weekend date? It makes the work week so hard. I went to work the day after a concert on year that was during the week and slept most of the day at my desk! Lucky the boss was out of the office!! Anyway - thanks for all the info I haven't been able to find any info posted except here!

Now margaritaville.com has it up for Wednesday the 25th, last I checked, Philips still has it for Friday the 27th, and Ticketmaster doesn't have it at all yet.
Oh well, I'll be online Monday morning trying to get tickets for whenever it is.

They fixed the website. The show is definitely on the 25th. I'm glad I'm off on Wednesdays and Thursdays! Road Trip! Hopefully this year we won't end up wrecking the car and missing the show!

Will there be an online presale for Atlanta tix?
What do y'all recommend? I can't take off work this year because we got such short notice. I teach a.m. preschool, and have no internet in my room. Did anyone get ATL tix via phone last year? I got pavillion by standing in line @ Publix.

oops....the Parrothead cruise people head out this Friday...they won't be back in time to buy tickets for the Atlanta showon Monday. I'm not worried about the Atlanta club peeps (they'll have tickets), but the others ! yikes

I've already recruited my hubby to try for our tickets since I'll be working. There's always ebay and the brokers, too. I've been shut out by Ticketmaster many, many times.

Last year for the Lakewood show I was shut out at Publix and Ticketmaster until around 6 in the evening when I scored two single reserved tickets that were two rows apart, four seats off.
Anyone know the concert seating capasity of Phillips vs Lakewood?
