Tropical Country Mix (song ideas)

Post by JohnnySmacks »

I'm trying to put together a mix of country songs with a tropical feel/theme for the Camden show. I have a bunch of songs but wanted to get some more ideas from all of you!

Here's just a few of the ones I have so far:
1. Island Boy - Kenny Chesney
2. Some Beach - Blake Shelton
3. Living and Living Well - George Strait (love that song)
4. I'm Gonna Miss Her - Brad Paisley
5. Six Pack Summer - Phil Vassar

And so! Help me out Buffetnewsers!!! 8)

Now I'm not one to deal in gossip
But was he that big of fool?
To do a belly buster high dive
And miss the entire pool?

I Need a Breather - Darryl Worley

I don't know if it's exactly country, but Laid Back and Key Wasted by Jim Morris is a fun song.

Here's a few I came up with:

Seashores Of Old Mexico - George Strait
Live, Laugh, Love - Clay Walker
Ten Rounds With Jose Cuervo - Tracy Byrd

I'm sure there are tons more, but the brain isn't up to full speed yet this morning.

Key Largo -- Bertie Higgins: Yes, it's cheesy, but it's tropical, right?
Jose Cuervo ( You are a friend of mine) -- I'm not sure who did this song originally, but I keep getting it stuck in my head! :(

Not quite country but two that might fit in well with your mix...Loggins and Messina's Vahevala and Lahaina.
