How much does the big man Make?

Post by Triathlete-Parakeet2 »

With the restaurants, albums, tours, books, shrimp, clothes, beer, shoes, and whatever else he sells, does anyone know how much Jimmy makes per year?

I'm guessing at least 50 mil.

I also notice he's not on the Forbes fortune 100 for entertainers. WTH?

Mods, or phjim, can we get "personal income" added to our BN profile page? This is another Question That Bothers Me So. :o
Or at least, "do you make more or less than your post count?"

I'm just a poor struggling college student. Anyone makes more than me. You can put my income at $0.

Sadly, I'm 34 and have recently gone back to school. My wife would love to have me as a tax deduction, but the govt won't let her.

The Big Man?

I'd guess $100,000.00 plus perks and bonuses.

He appears to be much larger than he really is, but I must say

Charleston Is the nicest person you would never want to make mad.

Well, you did say "The Big Man".

I doubt JB makes as much money as people think. The shrimp? He probably makes pennies on that - he has nothing to do with it from what I've read. The Margaritaville chain makes a steady amount a year but, I read it somewhere, something along the line of around 8 million a year total. So that would mean JB only makes a bit of that.

He might pull in over 1 million from a show but he doesn't walk out with 1 million.

There's the money Jimmy Buffett Inc. makes and then there's the money JB takes home. There's a big difference.

Hell, record sales are probably not even ONE million. Jimmy Buffett doesn't sell that many records.

It's the same with The Rolling Stones. Yeah they make millions. Do they? They themselves might walk out of the A Bigger Bang tour with 3 or 4 million each after everything has been paid for. Well, Mick makes the most. Nothing is equal in the Stones. Mick probably makes around 10 mil. But they grossed over 400 million dollars on the A Bigger Bang world tour.

I might be off a little on the Stones figures but not by much. I just don't see JB pulling in that much money to take home.

I'm 32 and I'm back in school too. I think there's a small "Lifetime Learning" credit or something to deduct on taxes, but that's about it.

I only wish my salary increased at the same rate as my post count.
Although, maybe my increasing post count is WHY my salary isn't keeping pace. :o

looks like a lot of my posts are between 8 and 5
