How could I forget someone who didn't rat me and Conolulu out when we were shootin' spitballs at the Awful Waffle?
It wasn't that hard to figure out. It was either you, biker dude in head-to-toe leather, or the old lady who never took the cigarette out of her mouth when she talked. Process of elimination.

Plus, you just looked guilty.

One I met in person before I chatted much on line with and we have since become friends as well as phriends and the other suprised me a bit. She is very cool and I look forward to getting to know her better this concert season!

There are a couple who I have formed an opinion of what they look like and I really don't want to be unfortunate enough to meet them to know for sure. :o
You hung out with more than that before the Detroit show! You met me, my husband (who rarely posts), Captain Morgan, KY Parrothead, Txagirl and I've been drinking so can't remember who else this second...

No- Dave really looks like Santa (white hair and beard). Wayne just wears Santa suits to shows.

Yeah, the biker dude wouldn't have used spitballs ..... it would've been bullets ..... inserted manually.
And the old lady was busy cooking.

I do! I'm always embarrassed when I don't recognize someone I've met before. And it happens to me a LOT!

(And I really AM quiet and shy at tailgates...I bet no one even remembers meeting me)

If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

I found and easy way to remember people.... Invite people to your house, hire Sunny Jim and have people who are coming tell you in advance.... the odds are you'll figure out who's who!

Maybe this is off topic.. I know I know :o :o :o
But what surprises me the most
I people who have little interaction with on the Board
become as close friends as we have .. I have met quite a few
people who have few (some very few) posts
they either lurk or only stay in the "who's going to"
threads with few posts in those forums also,
and after Birthday visits, Shows that are planned so you see both Jimmy
and them, Or making sure they know about a Phlocking so We can meet up ,
the Phone calls just to talk. the Emails, and just in general
becoming friends, even if there are many, many miles between
us
I guess what I am saying is that may be why I try not to prejudge
if I will like a person or not.. sometimes you are surprised
and most times at BN it is for the best. 8) 8) 8) 8)

I've met no BN'ers as of yet, of course I haven't been to a show since 1999 so I could have easily stumbled passed a few back in the 90's and not known it
