Who sang "Weather With You" On October Road show?

Post by rpnuge »

Hey - just watch the new show October Road on ABC tonight and last song of the show was "Take the Weather With You". But not sung by Buffett. Anybody know who sang it?

Crowded House maybe?

Didn't see it, but Weather With You is another Buffett cover, originally written by Neil and Tim Finn and performed by Crowded House.

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

Didn't see the episode but my guess would be it was sung by Crowded House, who originally recorded the song. :)

And... They started off with a Boston tune? I heard it from the other room, as I was reading our local paper describing how the Atkinson police found Brad Delp strange :o

Dont' know about the Boston tune. My husband was watching it and I was in the other room but heard "Take the Weather With You". It was definitely the Finn brothers.

Going to see Tim Finn at a private show!

Post by bravedave »

Tim Finn is doing a private performance in Annapolis next week and I have been invited to go see him! He was not a charter member of Crowded House, but he did perform WWY along with his brother and they both sat in on the Buffett version.

I can't wait!
