I hate to sound like a nit-picking BNer,
but the guy on RM just gave a really interesting talk about seaplanes of the Grumman flying boat variety.
One problem: the new planes going into production by Antilles Seaplanes that he was refering to correctly as Gooses, are tiny compared to the Albatross of Jimmy's that he kept saying was the same plane!
Jimmy had a Grumman Widgeon ( the one he fliped in the surf), and probably has flown the Gooses, but the Hemisphere Dancer is an ALBATROSS (just like the one in my Avatar), a GIANT compared to the new Antilles seaplanes.
Probably no big deal to most of you, but to me it's just like JD giving the wrong name to a JB tune.
Is a Ford Escape an Excursion?
A Toyota Rav 4 a Land Cruiser?
A stay with Bart Simpson a stay in St.Barts?
I'm gone.
Confused RM DJ ?

I never thought of that. I figured some non-BN aviation enthisiast had called him, but he never did mention the source of his corrected info.Snowparrot wrote:I'm sure you mean BN rules! Miles keeps BN open at all times, I think.
