welcome to the real world?!?! I agree it's human nature and I it's called politics.. and I agree as you call it the "real world" that people lie.. however I also feel that people who you have relationships with.. family, s/o, friends should not lie to you... I'm around people all day who lie to benefit their careers and make themselves look good and that's one thing.. but when it's someone that's in my personal life that's when it's hard to deal with. I don't live in a bubble and expect everything to be puppies and daises but I also think that those that are in my life personally wouldn't blatantly lie to me..AlbatrossFlyer wrote:people lie, then lie about lieing. it's called human nature. Lying is easy. It's easier for someone to lie than face the consequences of their actions.
I know it's corny and all that, but I can tell you with all my heart, having learned from experience, this quote is true:
That which does not kill us, makes us stronger.
Hang in there, MA_Buffett_Fan23 !![gt-happyup [smilie=gt-happyup.gif]](./images/smilies/gt-happyup.gif)

Im sorry!!MA_Buffett_Fan23 wrote:That's what I'm struggling with.. you lied to me, I know it, you know it but you still won't admit to it.. Makes me wonder what else I've been told is a lie?!? I'm a very trusting person until you break that trust and right now that trust is broken.. Unfortunately it's happening at a bad time to so it's making the matter worse..
I sure hope it isn't your man...you sounded so happy!

I don't like liars at anytime or anywhere period.sunseeker wrote:During my life, I have had many disappointments and failures. The biggest disappointments have came, when someone has proven untrustworthy. Liars, cheaters, and those people that pretend to be your friend. These disappointments hurt the worst. Ulitimately...these people discard what you have given them- your trust.
