I thought it was worth it if for no other reason than to get some of the live tracks of Jackson, Strait and Paisley. Pretty good version of all My Ex's Live In Texas with Buffett joining in. Worth the $9.98 at target or $9.99 at Circuit City.
Paisley? As in Brad Paisley? Where's he on this? Did I miss something?
I thought the cd was pretty good, but was disappointed with Margaritaville. I expected to get some solo vocals out of George and Alan. Sounds like they sing along on the chorus and Alan throws in a "there always is," but that's about it.
George goes solo on MILK COW BLUES ... HONK IF YOU HONKY TONK ... He and Jackson wail on COWBOYS LIKE US ... and I loved their cover of MURDER ON MUSIC ROW ...
Jackson is amaing on SEVEN BRIDGES ROAD .
I think it's well worth th $9.99.

By time Alan Jackson came out for Margaritaville he looked like he'd had a few adult beverages backstage.

No Paisley. My bad. He was playing on my Ipod while I was typing.

First time I played it, I started sweating. Just listening to the music reminded me of how HOT it was in that stadium. It was a great show and believe it or not I consumed more H2O than beer that afternoon.

I love it. The National Anthem is just one cut ... I'd buy it for Jackson's cover of SEVEN BRIDGES ROAD alone ... and The Ace in the Hole band really rocks out on MILK COW BLUES...
I also love NORTHEAST TEXAS WOMEN, but that is just a personal thing....

Thanks all. I answered my own question after I went out and bought it last night.
Sounds great and certainly worth the $9.99. I too liked Northeast Texas Women. For as many complaints as Jimmy gets for doing covers and not mixing up the set list, I love the fact that he goes to the effort of performing a song with local appeal. it sounded great.
I loved it when he came to Philly and closed with Sailing to Philadelphia. He led into it by saying "How can I come to Philly and not play this song?".
Thanks Jimmy!

Has anyone heard if they plan to release the whole show on cd or maybe a dvd?

FYI...this is currently the #11 best selling album on Amazon.com. It was #8 earlier in the week. Not bad.

Add the forces of JB's, King George's, and AJ's fans, and that's some LARGE numbers!
