Tickets lost in mail......
Like an idiot, I chose the "mail them to me" option when I ordered from Ticketmaster. I was in a hurry and I guess that was the default option, I don't remember. Anyway, Ticketmaster says they mailed them to me back on March 5, but I haven't gotten them. They said to call them if I haven't gotten the tickets by one week before the Houston concert. Needless to say, I've got 6 other people freaking out on me, who are used to having their tickets in hand way before the day of. I'm anxious too, but Ticketmaster assures me that they will be waiting for me at the box office at MM Park the day of the concert. Anyone else had to pick them up the day of the concert before?? I'm trying to put some minds at ease. Thanks!

Depends on whether or not someone with the original tickets shows up!
I was once given a ticket to a different type of concert by a person who was caring for the ill owner of it.
When I showed up, a "friend" of the sick was sitting in my seat! The usher knew that that person had claimed that her ticket had been stolen. The clever crasher figured that since her friend was sick and couldn't make it, she would pretend that the ticket for that seat had been lost in a theft.
I had the real ticket, but came after her.
According to her story, I was most likely a thief!
Rather than arrest one of us, they put me front row center, next to a single female celebrity!
Ended up going out together that night.
Free ticket, front row center, date with a semi-famous singer as a result.
I was 26, and nothing like that has ever happened to me since!

Yes, Long I was afraid that might happen. However, Ticketmaster assured me that once I called them to arrange to pick the tickets up at the box office, that the tickets that were mailed to me would be voided. That way, if my mail lady accidentally put my envelope in my neighbor's mailbox, then they wouldn't be able to use the tickets. Gosh I hope they are right. If you see a group of Parrotheads hollering and screaming at the gate in Houston that day, you can safely assume it's us.

Back in those days, a female "pop" singer like her was assumed to not have any. That asumption was correct in her case. Her image was supposed to be "wholesome", but little did THEY know.......buffettbride wrote:Did she show you her tattoos?Longboardn' ASEL&S wrote: Free ticket, front row center, date with a semi-famous singer as a result.

I'm out the door now to meet my wife at the kid's school conferences.
I hope she doesn't snap her fingers while the teacher is talkng and say: Hey, you've got that look like your daydreaming about that night with the singer again. Give it up! that was over half your life ago!!!!!!"
Longboard out.

I've lost my tickets before
. Called TM as soon as I found out and they had me pick them up at Will Call at the venue (Las Vegas). Very easy. Good Luck!

I've had some not delivered as well. After a few months I called, and they sent me new ones, instead of picking them up. It will void the other tickets for a concert of this size, where all tickets are scanned, so don't worry about someone getting in free. Hopefully whoever ended up with them doesnt sell them and rip someone off with voided tickets.
