'Limited Side View' for Riverbend mean?

Post by trojan_sixtyone »

I found some tickets in section 100 (like 15th row) for a price I'm willing to pay ($250 per), but it says it's limited side view. Anybody know exactly what that means? Anybody had 'limited side view' seats at Riverbend before?

Any help on this would be GREATLY appreciated! Since I can only make one show this summer, I want to have decent tickets (i.e., pavillion). I just don't want to get screwed with bad seats considering they cost so damn much!

I had 6th row limited side view seats in detroit this past year..i was right in fron of Mr. Utley's keyboards...but I couldn't see him because the speakers were in the way...could see jimmy fine though since he's always center stage. I'd assume it might be a similar type deal, but don't want to steer you wrong.

he is right usually the angel of the seats give you a limited view of the stage , if it was farther back it could mean an obstructive view caused by an pole

So then unless you are lucky enough to get them for face value, the seats aren't worth the price?

now this gets into a sticky situation...I know most people feel a lot better driving to a venue and knowing they already have tickets, but I'm sure if you go the morning of the show, they'll have some decent pavilions for face at the box office. That's how I scored my limited view detroit tickets. They weren't bad seats at all and I still got some awesome pictures. I'd always recommend holding out for face tickets though...but then again I am a broke college student.

I decided against the closer limited view tickets and settled for some cheap low-700 level tickets, roughly middle way up the pavillion on the aisle.

I got them for $136 a piece (including S&H and insurance) which is cheaper than buying online from that damned Ticketmaster, since they charge you ridiculous S&H fees.

So who's going to be there at Riverbend this year? Better yet, who plans on getting drunk and taking a dip in the river behind stage? :)

We had limited view seats last year, although farther back than you. We just couldn't see the far right side of the stage, otherwise they were fine.

I had 2nd row seats at Alpine once, with "limited side view".

I'd say they were great seats, but my view of Heather, Jules, Tina, and Nadirah was blocked....
