I love the sun! Whenever we get a chance in the summer, we pack up the beach chairs and hit the beach by the lake. I've been known to eat three meals there!

However! I will admit that I like a rainy day once in a while that gets us out of all sports related events. With three keets in three sports, our weekends are slammed!

Bad weather is neccesary.
Like for getting your taxes done, indoor housework completed, etc.
It's when you have an over abundance of it, and you know every post in BN by heart, that I start to wonder.
Eventually it will turn nice, and I will become weeks behind in the threads.
It's this Rollercoaster that is at the bottom right now that drives me nuts.
Talk to me in July- I'll tell you there's nothing like the Great Lakes!!!

I love the Great Lakes area - in July and early August, but that isn't enough to make me want to live there the other ten plus months of the year! Year round sunshine is simply good for this parrothead's mental hygiene!

The weather definitely affects me ~ I think it must be a Midwest thing. I can deal with the cold till about New Year's. From then until mid-March, I'm miserable and it's hard to just not go into hibernation. I do love the spring though, when things start to get green again. Lake Erie in the summer is good times. Fall is tolerable... it's just the winter that sucks. One of these days I'll get smart and flee south.

Yesterday was glorious though. Warm & sunny. I sat on my patio wearing flip-flops & a t-shirt, drank a pina colada & read the Sunday paper 8)

A few days ago I could'nt figure out how to fit in all that I wanted to do.
It was 81 degrees and sunny (shattering the record for the day here in Metro Detroit).
I had to work, but also wanted to walk, bike, skateboard, get stuff done on the cars, do some yard cleanup, etc., and there just wasn't enough time.
I also wanted to kick back and have a Landshark Lager, enjoy the scenery and sounds, and just chill.
Today the weather sucked (or to be more correct it was typical for the end of March in Michigan).
I did some desk work, a little housework, a little more housework (my wife is out of town), and got in a little bit of indoor excercise.
Aside from that, I've been on BN all day.
The kids have been bored as well.
The day would have been entirely different if the sun was out and we hit at least 59 degrees.
I have friends whose lives are un-influenced by weather.
For our family it's as critical as day vs night!!!!!!!
I would think that most Parrotheads are equaly influenced by weather changes.
Are You?????????????
Exactly! I couldn't stand it anymore in Portland, OR, wet, gray, cold, sailing in rain gear or coats all the time, very depressing, the rain, OMG the RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! When the weather turned nice for a day or two you'd kill yourself racing around like a Tasmanian Devil, what to do first, what to do first, omg, omg, the sun just came out, quick, hurry!!!!!! Packed 'er up and went to SW Florida, now I got all the time I need in the sunshine!
