Do you know what the rules are for tailgating in the parking lots around MM? I made it thru about 10 pages of the houston thread and notice there are over 200 so i figured id just asked without spending a few hours searching.

We ( some of us here at BN) have rented a parking lot and will have food, drinks, and other entertainment available. The cost is $50. Minute maid had spots available at $50 a piece. Look at the first post of this thread for more info on our party.

I thnk MM park was selling parking spots on ticket Master. I had heard that they were confining your party to your spot...if you needed additional spots you paid $50 a pop. Also heard no grilling.

yea, that tailgate looks great. there's a good possibility ill go to it, but i kinda pride myself in throwing my own tailgate. I've spent a few years perfecting my setup, but i wasnt sure if it would be allowed in other parking lots.

I guess it's a first for some real tailgating in Houston. You know they are selling parking in some lots.

It's nice to just pay for the Bayou Feeding Frenzy and have the PLANNERS help us out.

Here is a link for info about parking at Minute Maid Park from Ticketmaster.

I know if you post in the Houston thread, PHritz or txaggirl will see your post and help ya out with details.

what I have heard about tailgating in lots b & c are the following: (phirtz and clarify/correct me if i wrong)

1. having a pass for b & c does not guarantee a space
2. if you have parked in either of these lots, your friends will not be able to park somewhere else and then walk over to the lot and join you. this is being appealed at the moment but the decision last week was made not to let people "walk up" to lots b & c
3. tailgating wont be allowed in the other parking lots besides B & C unless you have done what we have done and rented the entire lot. we have gone through all the proper channels to make sure we are legal in the city and state's eyes.

we would love for you to join us!
