Thinking out loud, and I'm sorry if someone mentioned this back on page two...I just couldn't go through a whopping three pages.

I was reading the MOTM announcement about how there's a scheduling conflict with Jimmy's schedule and MOTM, so there will be NO current CRB members at MOTM this year.

We know that Vegas is currently the last tour stop listed on the shirts...and yes I know they printed new locations on shirts later last year...but I was wondering if maybe the Vegas weekends--as we are presuming Jimmy will be in Vegas for the last two Saturdays in October, right?--Maybe he'll be in Vegas for the last Saturday of Oct and the first of November???

If his schedule has a conflict with MOTM (Nov. 1-4) maybe he'll be in Vegas on Nov. 3????

What do you think? Am I nuts, or is that beside the point!?!?

I looked at ashirt on another fan site which showed in this order . . .
Hollywood CA, Las VEgas and Honolulu.

This could also mean he is in hawaii at that time.

I stand corrected.
It is Hawaii
Hollywood and THEN Vegas.

Hippo this could lend credibility to your detective work.

I just figured that IF Vegas is at the end of Oct....and there is a conflict for Nov. 1-4, then why wouldn't that conflict be on the shirt?

If the conflict isn't on the shirt, then maybe it's not a concert? Maybe they're doing a benefit or a recording?

again, just thinking out loud.

I know there's a picture or three of this years shirt around here somewhere, but the shirt I bought doesn't have dates on it.

Where it all ends I can't fathom, my friends.
If I knew, I might toss out my anchor.

Or just done touring and performing this year . . . The possibilities are endless and if the end is near perhaps they are taking the "baby steps" approach and weening us off the teet gradually.

I referenced this shirt: http://www.************.com/images/2007_01_b.jpg

Not sure what else is going on, but if it's the 27th it may be a little pricey.
That's because of Vegoos.... usually pricey that weekend.... But they're pricey every weekend...

I'm not sure talking to birds gets us anywhere. I mean it could have been delirium set in from avian flu or something. I need more definite details like where the bird works and how the bird can be so sure . . .

I know HarbourGirls birdie was right-on last year too.

The shirt link you offered, that's what I've been thinking of too. Which has Hawaii before Hollywood, after NY, NY. I find it strange that Jimmy would play Hawaii prior to Vegas....in fact I'd think doing Hawaii 'last' makes most sense. It's a good place to start a vacation.

It was mentioned elsewhere that Jake has a show in Hawaii on Nov. 4. Which he does, playing with the Hawaii Youth Symphony. Tickets are listed as TBD, not Private nor On Sale or with any Presale info.

I just can't see Jimmy doing Vegas not in October, and I can't see him doing the shows in an order other than on the shirts. The shirts are made to help us remember when was what....I prefer them with dates on them, but that detracts from the fun of dating a shirt later.

bla, bla, bla, yada, yada, yada....it's all conjecture....not that we didn't know that already.

and to add one more wrinkle, I thought about the fact that Jimmy quite often plays at the opening of a new Margaritaville. Last word I got about the AZ location was that it would open in the fall. November....does that qualify as fall? Maybe not, but then again, I don't know that Jimmy is there on the first day of business. He might want things to be rolling well, then show up for a quick show??

I am going to Hawaii in the middle of October. Therefore, as my luck goes, here is what will happen:
He will play Vegas on the 20th of October while I am in Hawaii-thus missing the show.
Then he will play Hawaii on the 27th of October, thus me missing another show and being so gosh darn close to seeing him in Hawaii I will puke at the thought..
That is muy luck... [smilie=blush.gif]

Why am I so hell bent on Vegas? It was a f'n blast last year and this year the wife will be MIA. It'll be the much anticpated/Highly feared solo flight to Vegas. I may have a pal in tow also taking the 1st plunge without his wife.

I've been whoring off personal belongings and doing ticket reselling on EBay to pay for this trip. I hit a windfall over the weekend and have an obscene surplus to spend - ahhhhh the things people will buy.

One of my good friends just threw me reward miles meaning FREE airfare to Vegas to help him move!

JESUS H I NEED THESE DATES. So are we saying 10/20 and 10/27? 10/27 and 11/4?

I'm gunning for as close to the stage as I can and buying one ticket will certainly get me close . . . I've not ruled out scalpers for row 1.

I'm reaching a neurotic state just hoping these dates show up soon. Things are lining up in favor of me going on this trip it is scary. My wife approves and I have more money to take with me than she would ever allow - airfare is free and I get to buy a single ticket to hopefully get me in Mac's lap.

Shizzam! If you're front row, I'll sneak up to say hi! I usually spend at least 15 or 20 minutes of each show on the floor area before the fun police beats me down! I need a financial windfall too! Where can I find one of those at? I never have had a financial windfall at a Buffett show, but I've surely had some entertainment windfalls! Check out the shows I've been to! http://community.webshots.com/user/buffettdrunk2

Last year, for the 10/28 show (#2) there were single tickets available the week prior to the show that were on the fringes of the first row. I think LIPH grabbed one of those. I wished I could have, but had come home from the 10/21 show already.

Not that anyone wants to wait until the last days to grab a ticket, but I'd keep your eyes open, even after you have your tickets.

I'm not certain how I got my head so firmly inserted in my ass but it appears that last years Vegas dates were announced in August last year. How is it to party in Tinley I have to wait 5 months once I purchase my tickets but 2 months works everywhere else.
