Anybody ever seen the Moody Blues? I've always wanted to check them out live and they are doing a U.S. tour this summer. I figure with the ages of these guys, I better go see em now before they call it quits. From the videos and CD's I've heard of their recent shows, they still have "it."

I saw them in the late '80's, and again at Red Rocks when they filmed the show. They were worth checking out then... I would catch them while you can.

I saw them years ago at Redrocks and was very disappointed. They were horribly out of tune and for me to notice that means that it was extremely bad. This would have been in the late 70s or early 80s. I suspect that some of this may have been caused by poor placement of stage monitors and such. There were several times during the show where members of the band seemed to be completely lost, one person would start to play and then someone else would begin the song at the beginning so they were out of synch and off beat.
For a band that produced such great albums that live show left a lot to be desired. If they were coming here it would depend on ticket price because I'm not going to pay a lot for a band that has disappointed me once.

I saw them about 5 years ago and loved the concert.
Also saw them a year ago, and would not go again. The voices were struggling with the high notes, but they had rearranged a lot of the songs to s "pop" beat, and I just hated that.
If you go, be prepared to watch the lead singer flirt his way through the concert-he things he is God's gift to woman.
