Sad,,,but i have!!!chippewa wrote:Thought I was a hip dude, but never heard of #10.Wino you know wrote:Ticketmaster's Top 10 Most Requested Live Acts were:

2. Kenny Chesney
3. Justin Timberlake
4. Jimmy Buffett
5. Bob Seger
6. Keith Urban
7. John Mayer
8. Gwen Stefani
9. Rod Stewart
10. Tool
Personally, I find it hard to believe he's only # 4, but, then again, I've never tried getting tickets to Police, Kenny Chesney or Justin What-his-name concerts.

Please keep in mind how many concerts Jimmy has on his schedule.
Quick count of the Cheesney, has him at 30 shows selling.
Jimmy has about 12.
Of course Justin only has about 10 on Ticketmaster right now, but he's popular with the youth and the youth has parents that want them out of the house.
Frisco Feeding Frenzies I-V (+16 other shows)

Does anyone have any idea how TM calculates or determines "Most Requested Acts?"
I have heard this term tossed around for years but never really thought about how they rank the events on the list.
Is it a function of the total number of shows that the artist plays versus the total amount of revenue for tickets sold or something like that?
Or do you think they keep track of all the times people search for tickets and come up with the "Sorry, there are no tickets available" response after a show sells out?
Also, where is this list published? I tried finding the info on TM.com without any luck.

Tool has been around for a while though. At least 10 years---before I was pregnant with Victoria.z-man wrote:Obviously no teenagers around your house!chippewa wrote:Thought I was a hip dude, but never heard of #10.Wino you know wrote:Ticketmaster's Top 10 Most Requested Live Acts were:

I guess you're right. Must s*** having to wash sticky bubble gum off your money from the last show, but as much as he is making, I guess he suffers through. The same problem that David Cassidy, Davy Jones, Lief Garrison, and a hord of others have had.LIPH wrote:You're not a 12 year old girl.spucketts wrote:Someone will have to explain Timberlake to me, I just don't see the tallent.....
I don't imagine many women are good looking after you have had Miss May hanging off your arm.LIPH wrote:I don't get Cameron Diaz, I never thought she was particularly good looking.buffettbride wrote:I think Justin Timberlake is kinda cute.Must not be that horrible if he shtoinked Cameran Diaz for the better part of the last few years.
Although I do agree with you about Cameron Diaz.
