Bama Breeze Set List

Now that the NCAA Basketball Tournament is over, does anyone want to gamble on set list for the Bama Breeze Tour? I would love it if he kept the same set list from Aguilla, but some how I doubt it. Houston is the first date for the new tour, so what predictions are there for the following:

1) What will be the first song (he primarily started with Brown Eyed Girl last tour);
2) What will be the songs other than the standard SYKBH songs?

Start with Migration, African Friend in the middle somewhere, and end with either Banana Republics or Tonight I Just Need My Guitar.

If he did that, I wouldn't care what he played in between.

This might be lame for some of ya, but I would love to see Jimmy pull out a bar stool sit down and sing an acoustic version of "Jimmy Dreams" before 35000 fans silent, but all locked in arms swaying from side to side with each other!! YA!!! :P

now that'd be *cool*!!

trouble is, at least 15000 of them would be muttering, "What's this? Why isn't he playing Cheeseburger?"

hmmm, lessee......

open with Only Time Will Tell (although that was the opener not so many years ago...), Barometer Soup, Migration, Stars on the Water, Blue Guitar, etc..

Bama Breeze.... duh.... :P

throw in School Boy Heart, Far Side of the World, When the Coast is Clear, Changing Channels, Blue Heaven Rendezvous, If It All Falls Down, Love in the Library, Cowboy in the Jungle, Barefoot Children in the Rain, Nothing But A Breeze, Wheel Inside the Wheel, Everybody's On the Phone, in some combination....

Don't even think about messing with A Pirate Looks At Forty, OPH, or SOASOAS

Close with Breathe In, Breathe Out, Move On or Tonight I Just Need My Guitar...

ahhhhhhh............ :D

Does anyone else like Unclke John's Band or is it just me. Seems to be one of my favorites right up there with Migration, Tin Cup Chalice, and Wino.

I would love to see Jimmy sings an acoustic set!! For me add to "Jimmy Dreams" with "Ballad of Spider John", "The Night I Painted the Sky", "Everlasting Moon", "Little Miss Magic", "The Wino and I Know", "Defying Gravity", "Trying to Reason w/Hurricane Season", and "Twelve Volt Man". I know these are all sort of slow songs but seeing Jimmy up there by himself singing some of these would be awsome.

I am also a fan of Uncle Johns' Band, and would also like to hear...
The Wino and I know
USS Zydecoldsmobile
Jamaica Farewell
Lone Palm
And the one I haven't heard live in several years is Another Saturday Night. The crowd would always sing it word for word, and love hearing it live.

I'd love nothing more than for him to play Nautical Wheelers. I'd go crazy if he played that solo for the encore. That's the one song I've never heard live that I want the most.

Play it in Pittsburgh Jimmy!!!!!!!!!!

I've always thought that would be a perfect final encore :D

In Anguilla he did not play WDWGDAS. I wonder if he's dropping it from the set list. It's not one of my favorites, so I didn't mind.

It was interesting that in Anguilla the only TTWWY song he played was Take the Weather With You. Kind of surprizing that he didn't play Bama Breeze. I also miss when he doesn't do He Went to Paris BUT I loved that he closed Anguilla with Distantly in Love.

I would love to hear Cowboy in the Jungle sometime in this summer, BUT, I would love just to get tickets for Alpine.

Guess, I'd just love to see another show this summer.

I think the closest you're going to get to that is the reference in Bama Breeze (at least he mentions the song). My musician friends refer to the song as "stairway to freebird". I hope you get to toast "Ronnie and the boys."

I still always want to hear, first and foremost,

That's What Livin' Is to Me

Maybe since it was in the acoustic beach set on Friday in Anguilla, it'll make the set list.

From the new album, I'd love to hear Nothin' But a Breeze and Breathe In, Breathe Out.

I'd love to see a big screen tribute to the ladies in his life with Hula Girl @ Heart. Cheesy, but sweet!

I was going to say all she missed was Here We Are, but Coast of Marseilles would be a great addition too.

OTWT is the best opener, concert or album, IMHO - EVER!!

I also like Scarlet Begonias, they'd be a Grateful combo!!
