Key West "Trails of Margaritaville" Walking Tour

Post by zingme »

Has anyone been on this? We're planning a trip in early May and are trying to decide if its worth the $20. Seems to me like we just meet at Captain Tony's, spin past the recording studio, and land (perhaps crash?) at Margaritaville. Other than additional Buffett "lore" (which I can probably find here), does the tour offer anything special that I can't do on my own?

I just did it on Wednesday and it was great. Lots of info on Key west history and Jimmy. It was usally a 90 minute tour but none of us were in a hurry so we did almost 3 hours. Tell Tim " DAMN IT DONNIE SAY HI "

I know i was in key west and disappointed that my friends and I didn't do this tour. Sounds like a real blast of time. We want to go back to key west for the whole day. Maybe well get there in july or august.

maybe even stay down overnight, that 4 hours down and 4 back cuts into the fun you can have on the Rock.
