The CMT Music Awards show took place on Monday April 16th. Jack Ingram received the CMT in the Wide Open Country category for the song "Love You". Other songs nominated in the category include: "Bama Breeze" - Jimmy Buffett , "Always on Your Side" - Sheryl Crow With Sting, and "God's Gonna Cut You Down" - Johnny Cash.
