I just had a family member who is a somewhat regular player at the casino call her host at Showboat to see about tickets. He told her that there was a meeting of all the casinos (Caesars, Bally's, Claridge, Showboat and Harrah's are all owned by Harrahs Entertainment ) to discuss comp tickets for Buffett. only available to "Very High Rollers". He also told her that the ticket prices are going to be $$$. Lets hope he was wrong. ? :-?
There is a team called the Sharks in that type of league but I can't remember exactly which town - Camden? Lakewood?
Anyway, here are the prices from the Boardwalk Hall Site:

Tickets on sale Monday April 30 at 10 am and are priced at $226,$156,$96 and $66.
I'll take 2 please, front row center. :D

Good luck w/that....

Team in Camden is called the Camden Riversharks.

Lakewood has the Blueclaws.

Sure, why not ? I'll get 3 instead of 2. :D :D Since we're dreaming, what's the ticket limit ?
If I can't get front row center, will you still sit next to me ?

Good thing those folks from New Jersey can't read . . . . KIDDING. I don't even belong in this thread. At least I am not sure if I can realistically go but I am excited for the AC date.
The Parrot Dice Lounge kinda like a mirage. Here today and gone tomorrow. You should stop by and say hello when visiting Chicago on tour.

It's a picture of Pat Tillman. A true hero. After 9/11 he decided to leave his multimillion dollar career in the NFL to go in the army and join the US fight for freedom. Tragically he was shot by friendly fire and the army made attempts to cover it up. He wore #40 in the NFL...hence my name APLATillman. I don't want to bore anybody w/ too much info, but if you want to know more http://www.pattillmanfoundation.org/

By the way...is anybody else thinking about going to boardwalk hall to try for tickets?

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

Thanks. I know his story and I agree, he is truly a hero. I just was not sure if you were a friend, family member or a fan.
