and what are the chances of actually getting one of the $66 tickets?
(thinking....an ice cube's chance in hell....but i'll ask anyhow! :-? )
I'm guessing here but I kinda think it will be the $66 tkts that will bemore available. I'm figuring that the casinos will opt to take the best they are offered. I'm hoping for something better but will take but I can get.

AC SALE USING WRISTBANDS

JIMMY BUFFETT AND THE CORAL REEFER BAND
IN CONCERT AT BOARDWALK HALL
SATURDAY, JUNE 30

Wristband Policy To Be In Effect

Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band are coming to Atlantic City for the first time ever! The concert at Boardwalk Hall will take place on Saturday, June 30 at 8 p.m. as part of Jimmy Buffett’s “Bama Breeze” 2007 Tour. Land Shark Lager and Margaritaville are sponsoring the concert in association with Caesars Atlantic City. Tickets go on sale Monday, April 30 at 10 a.m. Local Parrotheads won't want to miss their chance to soak in the full Margaritaville experience!

As a result of a great demand for tickets, Boardwalk Hall will be implementing the wristband policy for the on-sale of the Saturday, June 30 Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band concert. The Boardwalk Hall Box Office staff will issue wristbands in order to reserve places in line for purchasing tickets. This policy allows patrons to avoid having to line up at inconvenient hours and helps ensure their safety. Guests planning to purchase their tickets at the Boardwalk Hall Box Office should be prepared to pick up wristbands prior to the on-sale date. Wristbands will be made available at the Box Office beginning Friday at 11:00 a.m.

• A wristband guarantees the holder a place in line to purchase tickets; it does not guarantee a ticket purchase or specific seat location.
• Patrons with wristbands will be served first when tickets go on sale; patrons without wristbands will be served after the wristband holders have had the opportunity to purchase tickets.
• In order to pick up a wristband, photo ID is required. One wristband per person.
• On the day of sale, those wearing wristbands will be served first, regardless of any line. Patrons should line up one hour prior to on-sale. Wristbands are available at the Boardwalk Hall Box Office and are valid only at Boardwalk Hall.

Please note there is a six ticket limit per customer for this show.

Questions regarding the wristband policy should be referred to the Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall at 609-348-7000.

Thanks for the info. I toyed with the idea of going there to try and buy tickets. I'm just going to try my luck online.

TO THE 3 OR 4 PEOPLE I PM'D THIS MORNING BOTH LOCATIONS ARE CLOSED DON'T GO TO THEM :x Sorry  If you recieved a pm from other bnr's regarding 2 locations in Atlantic City they are both closed.

I am hoping to pick up extra tickets to trade for other venues, I went to AC today to check out the locations and found them both closed, one under renovation and the other closed for good.
I picked up a wristband at the hall #00072, which means 71 people got there before me  They will be holding a lottery Monday morning.
Driving into the city via AC expressway there was a huge billboard with our phriend Jimmy on it :D Same one is on the way out of AC also. I would imagine 100,000+ people will see these billboards this weekend, you do the math. I'm starting to believe the internet is the only way.

#00086 here!! i also checked those ticket locations and found the same thing...and i saw the same billboard! on top of that, i was just in The Pearl (a chinese restaurant on the circle in Somers Point that i must recommend b/c they have some fantastic rum drinks like the Zombie and Head Hunter and a fantastic rum punch that comes in a bowl where they pour 151 in the center volcano and set it on fire!! (shown here http://mmm-yoso.typepad.com/mmmyoso/images/mrtiki06.jpg)) and while in the Pearl they were playing 96.9 WFPG and i heard an ad for the Buffett concert! Enough with the ads already!!

The Pearl was one of my favorites :D , haven't been there in awhile, almost forgot about their great drinks. Sounds like the place to go about 10:20 Monday morning.

Can anyone confirm there will be an internet sale of tickets???

Do you think others with wristbands are turned off by the amount of wristbands handed out and will decide to just sit home and try on the computer or am I over thinking this :-? I've been up since 4 :o people are relying on me to get extra tickets and I hate to disappoint. I'm torn between Boardwalk Hall, Boscov's TM site(only 7 people showed up there when Camden went on sale) or computer.

I'm sticking with the computer today. Good luck, whatever you decide.

Perched at the computer and ready to go.
Ran Norton Friday night. Defragged the computer yesterday and ran cr*pcleaner. All unnecessary programs running in the background shut off. Good luck everyone.

Good luck to everyone trying for AC tickets today!

1 hour and 37 minutes to go! :o
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

Anyone know where those $66 seats will be? Maybe just those 300 level seats? Will they be any good?

I've never been to B'walk hall. Any thoughts?

Good luck!!

If you can get about the first three sections on either side they really won't be bad seats - high but not all that bad IMO.
