Who's going to Atlantic City June 30th?

I guess I'll get this started. With AC all but confirmed (I'm told that my aunt came through with tickets for me thanks to her, ahem, hobby) where will the tailgates be?
I'm thinking that the boardwalk itself for the most part will be policed and will be more like viewing a parade than an actually pre-show party.
I don't know the AC beaches, is it possible to get something going there? Maybe a small grill, tent and the like? Or will we be shunned to restaurants? Well, if so, Cuba Libre looks cool, but a little ways from the Boardwalk Hall.
I see on maps that a place called The Walk is mentioned, which looks like parkland. Maybe a picnic style tailgate?
Anyone familiar with AC please drop some ideas.
Thanks!

last night i watched the video of JB and Dave Matthews singing "heart of gold" and was thinking who might show up to jam with jimmy in AC. Bruce obviously was the first to pop in my head. That would be perfect...jimmy and the boss singing "meet me tonight in Atlantic City"!

"The Walk" is a large mall/outlet stores type of area. Many places to shop and a good number of restaurants. There may be some "green spaces" but I can't imagine that the AC Police would allow much to go on. Here's a link with more info on that area:
http://www.acoutlets.com/
I'll be there if I can get tickets. The event announcement does not list any info for internet sales.
Hey Conch - does you aunt want to adopt me ??

Thanks for the info on The Walk. I figured as much. I guess more info regarding tailgate locations will come through as we get closer.
As for my "Aunt", well, I got lucky as it's my wife's aunt who scored 4 tickets (supposedly, I won't believe until I see) for my wife and I and my wife's cousin's. They are cool people and it'll be their first concert, so we want to show them the right way. I'm still trolling for two more for my sister who actually introduced me to Jimmy. (Which I then took to a whole new level as far as she's concerned, but that's another story.)
Jones Beach last year was our first show, so we're really looking forward to this one, as well as hoping for MSG later in the fall.

Many of the casinos have bars on the beach this time of year, but I'm certainly not paying $8-10 dollars per watered down margarita, I'm awaiting a response from the A.C. info officer as I know the drinking laws on the beach changed a little when they allowed the casinos to put bars on the beach.
The walk is designer outlets Ralph Lauren, Coach etc...
Depending on the info from the info officer, I will get in touch with my brother who owns Maloney's Uptown Bar & Grill on Tennessee Ave. and see what he could or would do for us if everyone is interested.

I will be there. I love Jimmy and AC is always a good time so the math adds up (sometimes math doesn't s***) . . . but, man, Boardwalk Hall does not scream Buffett to me. I think I will go for the party and skip the show - unless I can score a ticket cheap (under 100$ would be cheap nowadays). I might just wait for Mohegan and the two Gilette Shows and hope for Jones Beach.
Tailgating

There is a huge paking lot at the AC Sharks Sandcastle Stadium baseball park. The field is on the Blackhorse Pike about 1 mile from the Boardwalk Hall. They use this lot for parking when there are big shows at the convention center. They always provide free shuttle buses to the shows

. Maybe thay will open this lot up for tailgating. It is probably the biggest parking lot in AC. Anybody know ticket $$ yet. I've called the casino and they know nothing.

It's the Atlantic City Surf and I just checked the schedule. Games are away for that weekend so this might just work.

Thanks for the correction. I was thinking Jimmy (Sharks / Fins).
I just had a family member who is a somewhat regular player at the casino call her host at Showboat to see about tickets. He told her that there was a meeting of all the casinos (Caesars, Bally's, Claridge, Showboat and Harrah's are all owned by Harrahs Entertainment ) to discuss comp tickets for Buffett. only available to "Very High Rollers". He also told her that the ticket prices are going to be $$$. Lets hope he was wrong. ?

There is a team called the Sharks in that type of league but I can't remember exactly which town - Camden? Lakewood?
Anyway, here are the prices from the Boardwalk Hall Site:
Tickets on sale Monday April 30 at 10 am and are priced at $226,$156,$96 and $66.
