Walked in to Best Buy early Nov 05. They had a sign as I walked in that all remaining A/C's were 75% off. I figured it was a good time to pick up a couple units. All they had left were 12000 BTU units. I asked the guy how much, he looked it up and said $50 a piece. They were originally $385 a piece. They took the 75% off the last selling price which was $200. Needless to say I took 4, 2 for me, and dad wanted 2. I get my electric bill a few days later and there is a notice about rebates for buying Energy Star appliances. For A/C's it was $50 a unit. In the end all it cost me was the tax. Between my dad an myself we got $1540 worth of A/C's for $10.
