Banana Wind Lyrics?

Post by landshark50 »

Does anyone have ther own lyrics to Banana Wind? and not mind sharing?

I was in the car driving home today and heard Banana Wind. Every time I hear it I always think "I need to find my words to that song". Never have though, I think I know why I never got a grip on penmanship!
Tomarrow's right around the corner. I'll get there somehow, But I'm stuck in the meantime and I love the NOW.

I was at that Jones Beach show and I don't remember Banana Wind. But there's a lot of things from 11 years ago I don't remember.

Funny you should ask. I really DO have my own set of lyrics.

One day, when that cd was new, my husband and I were waaaay out in the country camping, driving the truck up some 4wheel drive trails. That song came on. Hubby said he hated that song b/c it "sounds like Sesame Street." Being the silly parrotchick that I am, and "maybe" somewhat "tipsy" [smilie=battingeyes.gif] I made up this whole set of lyrics that fit the song perfectly, and was about Bert and Ernie and the whole Sesame Street Gang. I wish I could remember them now! But it was the FUNNIEST DANGED thing!!! [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

Aside from the two words, "Wipe Out!", it has the same lyrics as that unforgetable classic, "Wipe Out"!!!!! Amazing!

Oh and it starts with "Met you at the end." ...

At the very beginning of the song Jimmy says:

Meet ya at the end
Meet ya at the end

So I imagine those are the lyrics.

the question was do you make up lyrics, not whether or not there are lyrics by Jimmy.
I always find myself singing to it, mainly just a chorus though.
In ten more years maybe I'll have a verse
