Not to upset you even more creeky, that's not my intent, but didn't he say last year something about he would be going to Paris and Australia,..... I vaguely remember something along those lines, maybe things just arent worked out yet.........Phins crossed for ya kid

Am gonna just miss it. Will be in Paris on June 19th. Oh Well, next time.

However, what I DONT GET is that all this tour of France is going to do - is enable those USA citizens with the cash flow - to go to YET MORE shows - (ie these are those that can flit all over the country and caribbean and see what they want) ....

Yet - the aussies who have all his music ... he has ignored since 1987. I am lucky - I have had the financial means to get to the USA to see him - most others have not - and for them I AM CRANKY!

So yeah who cares . . . um, I hate Paris. Loud. Noisy. Rude. Good food but too tourist driven which I hate. If he played the Riveria I would go or somewhere in the French Alps which is just gorgeous. Paris is such a rip off . . . good for you Jimmy I bet you play alot of s*** off of Far Side but you can have it . . . I was expecting something slightly more exciting. Have fun to those who hop the puddle.

I dont think its a tour... He said he has other business in France... and he has always wanted to play Paris. I would bet that it will be a mostly French audience.... or Americans who are in France or England already.... just a guess However I hear your plea and I am so sorry that you are disappointed.

Sorry to be rude but either get a second job, listen to radio margaritaville for free, put in a cd and blend a margarita, or find something else to do. I am now going to get in my yacht and sail down to Surfside beach and then hop in my limo to get to Nantucket airport where I will board my private plane and head to St. Barth's for some cognac with Jimmy and family.

I dont need a second job - I have the financial means to get to the USA to get to a show - if you read my post you quoted - it is that I am cranky for those that dont have the means ...... and there are many Americans that dont have the means to get to shows as well.

You know - for years here, I have sat and read through and supported people in their rants or pleas for "why did you miss Nashville" "Why not Boise" ... "what happened to Denver" ..

Well cause I am a one person band on this - I am on my own ..... but I have EVERY RIGHT to complain like every one else does ..

Now - someone pass me a happy pill please ....

Air and hotel from Boston is about $1200 on Travelocity - I'm going to skip it and hope for another Anquilla type concert this winter. If the surprise had been Tahiti or Fiji I'd have found a way to make it work.
In the meantime I'll be having a LARGE September. Gillette on the 8th (haven't decided whether to go on the 2nd) and then a GREAT party given by friends I haven't met yet on the 22nd! And MOTM in Nov.
