"Someone took us to the cleaners/my shirts are already

Post by hangoutgang »

"Someone has taken us all to the cleaners and I've already had my shirts done" was a song that was suppose to be released on the "Havana Daydreamin" album, however a last minute change resulted in putting it back in the can. However, it's reported that some 'Havana Daydreamin' albums still have this song on it. Anyone have a copy of this song or even heard of it?

This is a new one for me. I know "Please Take Your Drunken 15 Year-Old Girlfriend Home" has a similar backstory, though.

Same here. Never heard of yours, but I have a copy with "Drunken Girlfriend".

The correct title is:

We've Been Taken to the Cleaners (and I Already Had my Shirts Done)

This may have been printed on the albums to hide drunken girlfriend from ABC records

Hey - cool discog site! I still laugh my ass off at how Jimmy always says he's recorded more than 30 albums when he hasn't and yet he called Havana Daydreamin' album number 4 when it was actually his 6th!
