It's a great feeling, isn't it?

I'm hitting Camden on the way down to college orientation this year. :D

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

Me, the two Jen's and Larry ( and maybe others) went to Stout after the Show last year too...
I remembered going someplace after the show but I didn't remember the name of it. I'm old.

well there are lots of hotels in the Morris County area, Rt.46 and Rt.10.If you want to take the bus which takes you to Port Authority in NYC (a 5-6 block walk to MSG) you can stay there for about $80.00 a night. It takes about an hour to get into the city on the bus.[/quote]

We're staying in Secaucus at The Meadowlands Plaza Hotel, unless someone has a better plan? Then taking the train into NYC to Penn's Station.

Anyone have any comments or concerns about dis idear?
So bless me father, yes I have sinned.

I haven't checked for a bit- but Mo's is still on I assume?

Stout is a really cool place- been there for some Sunday NFL. (Too bad Miami has blown since I have been up here in NY/NJ.)

I recall going to Harps back in 2001. It's since been torn down and replaced by a garage if I have the exact location right. Bummer. Was always a decent place trying to get back to Hoboken when you miss that train and half to wait another 30.

I'll search for any updates from Matt..... (havn't looked)

Stout's sounds even better when i hear about overcrowding at Mo's last year, plus the rush hour hassle getting to MSG from Mo's. As a New Yorker, I have learned to avoid rush hour...
Maybe you have to be tipsy and from out of town to enjoy that

Given it's popularity and it's proximity to MSG Stout will be insanely packed I think. I love it there but thought Mo's was pretty cool. I'd lean that way myself.....

or Waikiki Wally's?

Waikiki Wally's sounds great, but, again, quite a ways from MSG and not the most savory of neighborhoods, I think (havent been over there recently...I may be wrong) I must admit, the name of the other one is so off-putting, I havent checked it out.....

I'm fine with taking one of the lead local positions on this but I saw some dissention on Mo's so I figured we should get a feel on what people want...

I put my vote in for Stout based on its proximity to MSG and what everyone's said about it thus far. Sounds like they decorate, etc. depending on what's happening at MSG also.

Check out their website: www.stoutnyc.com/index.html

ditto...I'd probably be coming in from DC that afternoon to make the concert so wherever...I'd prefer closer though...isn't there a tiki bar in Times Square?

There used to be a Tiki Bar in Times Square (Hawaii Kai) but it is no more...The thing is I love Stout but think it will be ridiculously packed there. They do have a downstairs so I'll check it out and see if it is available but I liked Mo's last year.......

No, but Hawaiian Tropic Zone is on 49th St. & 7th Ave. and Hooters is on, I think, 56th St.
