Did that happen through TM??? If so, what are the chances? [smilie=blush.gif]
Yes it did, about 10 minutes apart on ticketmaster.com. And what makes it even more bizarre, I save all my ticket stubs and I just checked them. I was in the same seat at last year's MSG show.
Now that is just plain freaky! :o I think you need to play those numbers!

momsrule27 wrote:Chevy's is huge and has great Margaritas (they are huge too! 8) ) Definitely closer than Mo's. I am sure we can turn Chevy's tropical with no trouble at all!

On another note - I have not been able to access Ticketmaster's website since getting tickets this morning. I received one set of tickets I ordered via eticket but on the second set I only received confirmation of order but no eticket email. When I have tried to go back on their site I get an unavailable error message. I can't believe their server has been down all day. Anyone else having trouble? I am in the northern NJ area so maybe it is just their server in this area.

that is what we were thinking too! i really enjoyed Mo's but we will be a bit short on time! my friend Jeannie has to work and then we will be taking the bus from NJ to Port Authority so we will be getting to the city at about 4:30. and I love Chevy's Magaritas!!!!!! 8) 8) 8)

Last year my wife and I were at Stout which is 32nd across from garden. I go there for lunch on a regular basis and the place was packed for the concert. I was suprised with the decorations and buffett dvd's on the plasma screens. If you all want I may be able to get something set up there for thursday night. I have tix for both days.

I was at Stout last year and it was great. They had the Wrigley Field Concert on a bunch of TV's and there were plenty of Parrot Heads there. Waikiki Wally's would be great if it was a little closer.

which night? I'm in Sec 333 row J on Tues!!

But cant we do better than Mo's? Its such a hassle to get from there to MSG during rush hour....tho if you're tiddly, maybe you dont care....?? there has to be a good bar or two close to MSG....arent there????

I'm gonna see where the Metro club folks party before the concert.....
Metro folks were in some tiny, narrow tropical bar last year, that was relatively new I believe. It opened up in the back but it was still a tight squeeze. I think it's where the NYC Metro Happy Hour is every month, which is probably fine for hosting NYC PHs, but for the entire Metro area it was tight.
That place was new and has already closed....I'll see if there is another they use...not for the NYC meetings, but for Metro partying..... do you know the Blarney Rock? maybe not tropical, but ......
Doesn't really surprise me. It definitely needed improvements last September. I don't know where Metros meet, except for Zoinks in Islip.

Yes, very large. I was very suprised how festive they were for the concert.

I agree we should change, but chevys is in Times Square while Stout is on 32nd St across from MSG...and several BNers thought it was really into Parrotheads last year....

Do we need to make some kind of arrangements? Or just go there?

Stout was a good time--roomy, decorated in a festive Buffettesque manner...so very, very close to MSG--we're going to get off the LIRR and go right there!
By the way: 126 days till the show!!!!

Ok gang, I'll get the info on Stout regarding "our" crowd as we get closer to the date. I go there for lunch frequently and will talk to someone there. At least maybe we can get a staging "meeting" area for the bn'ers.

I remembered going someplace after the show but I didn't remember the name of it. I'm old.
