I was suprised with the decorations and buffett dvd's on the plasma screens. If you all want I may be able to get something set up there for thursday night. I have tix for both days.
Me, the two Jen's and Larry ( and maybe others) went to Stout after the Show last year too...
I remembered going someplace after the show but I didn't remember the name of it. I'm old.

Thanks for the advice, but I am not all that familiar with the mass transit in NYC, so I'll probably sell a kidney and get a hotel.

If you stay in certain parts of NJ you can take the train directly into Penn Station which is under MSG!

Same with Long Island. THe Long Island Railroad heads also directly leads into Penn Station. No subway necessary

can you suggest a place of departure in NJ? hopefullly somewhere safe? I just need some help because as inept as I am with travelling around NYC, I am even more clueless with Jersey.

Thanks to all for the helpful hints!

well there are lots of hotels in the Morris County area, Rt.46 and Rt.10.If you want to take the bus which takes you to Port Authority in NYC (a 5-6 block walk to MSG) you can stay there for about $80.00 a night. It takes about an hour to get into the city on the bus.
