The rest of the Paris pics - nothing from the Buffett show, just me playing tourist for 3 days. Some of the French spelling may be wrong but I don't speak French.

in which case, Je ne parle pas francais could be useful, if you ever go back.... the French version of No hablo... :P

See how a little high school French that I haven't seen or spoken in over 30 years can stick with you?? :o :o

Don't feel bad, I took Spanish for 5 years and I can't speak that either. Sometimes I feel as if I'm barely getting by in English.

Si, no hablo French. They forced me to learn that in grad school, but then they laughed at me when I spoke French with a Spanish accent!

Bonjour! Amigo!
Hey Snake, we need more wine!

Thanks for the hotel info Larry, and I'm with you on the cafes and quick dinners!

I'll check into that and will look at your pics as soon as I can un-pile some of the stuff off my desk!

One thing about the hotel, the room was really small. The first day, it seemed like every time I turned around I was banging my knee against something until I got used to how small it was. But it was clean, quiet and comfortable.

Beautiful pictures Larry...brings back some memories.
I know my pix are faded...I didn't have a digital camera when I went to Paris.
Some people never find it, some only pretend
But me, I just want to live happily ever after every now and then.

I feel like I'm in 'broken record' mode, too. They are great photos - it looks like you made the most of your short trip!

BTW, did you reset the "clock faced people" at the Louvre to five o' clock on your way out?
A most mysterious calling harbour
So far, but yet, so near
Where I see the day
When my hair's full gray
and I finally...disappear. BUT NOT YET!!

My stroll from the hotel to the Eiffel Tower Saturday was a little too leisurely. I stopped a few places along the way, took almost 2 hours to get there and didn't make it until a little after noon. By then there were hundreds of people on line waiting to take the ride to the top and I didn't feel like waiting all afternoon. Gives me a reason to go back again.

No. The clocks all worked and they were set to the right time.
