Jimmy's Planes

as i was perusing this section of the web site i noticed this...

Jimmy currently has 4 planes registered as "Strange Bird Inc" based out of Wilmington, Delaware

uh, that is where i live...i guess i should find my watson and start sherlocking.

You might get lucky, but I suspect there are financial advantages to registering one's planes in Delaware, regardless of where you park them.

I don't think 4 planes will fit in Delaware at the same time.

I'd bet the corporation is a DE corp. Delaware has some of the most corporation-friendly tax laws. A lot of major corporations are incorporated in Delaware.

strange bird is strictly a shell corp. for liability protection.

My wife's parents own their own business in Va and used to tag all of their vehicles in Delaware for tax purposes. No property tax. Saved a good amount on the vehicles. I imagine it saves a whole lotof money on Jimmy's planes.
