Jimmy hasn't done 2 shows at Jones Beach since 1993 and he hasn't played there 2 years in a row since 1997-'98. Now that's he's cutting way back on the number of shows, what makes you think he'd do a run of shows at ANY venue?

Good point Larry! I would love a Jones Beach show this year but if MSG is where Jimmy is playing then MSG is where i go!

Actually, I think it might be more likely so he doesn't have to be constantly on the road and in a new hotel/house everynight. It wouldn't surprise me if he ever did something like three or four shows at a regionlly centered location like Vegas.

Not sure what is central about Vegas. It is closer from NY to DC than LA to Vegas, and LA is the closest major metropolitan area to Vegas. San Fran is almost 600 miles away. Boston is closer to DC than San Fran is to Vegas. Denver is about 750 miles away, or the distance from Chicago to DC, Salt Lake City is over 400 miles and about the same distance as Columbus to DC.

Maybe the regional concert thing will happen. I hope it doesn't, but maybe it will. But the idea of using Vegas as a central location means that he would only have to play in 3 locations and he would cover the continental US.
