Even though my favorite team didn't even make the playoffs (something to do with having the WORST record in the league), I'm still watching.
I'm pretty ambivalent about who hoists the cup ..... I do want every remaining series to go 7 games and each game to go to overtime (or double, or triple). I'll have to wait until fall for another hockey fix, so I want this season to last as long as possible.

I used to go to a lot of Islanders games, even back in the early days when they were the worst team in the league. I haven't been to a game in at least 15 years and I haven't watched any games on TV in the 2 seasons since the lockout ended. Not even the playoffs. That comment about not caring is true.

All good teams. Both sets of games are gonna be a battle. I think it's gonna be a Anaheim/Buffalo finals with Buffalo in 6.

Not that I'm going to see many of the games since they are on Vs, a channel that few people get. At least the weekend games are on NBC. Maybe the weekday finals will be on there too.

I am from Chicago, used to be a blackhawks fan, So many years of disappointment and not being able to watch home games on TV made me leave the team my grandfather use to follow so closely he had 2 - 1st row season tickets at the old stadium.

With being a fan of the Red Wings for over 15 years now, I have seen them make the playoffs more times than Chicago has, and Seen them win more stanley cups in that time period than Chicago will ever win in my lifetime.

Actually, I think I have heard that. Unfortunately, I don't get Vs nor do I have HD. I need to correct both - the wife does want an HD TV; we are discussing size ~50in vs ~60in. < insert size jokes here > I can't wait to see hockey in HD.

And yeah, for the most part you either love or hate the Wings. I'm in the hate category since they swept my Caps in the finals several years back. But, there are other teams I hate more.

Lord Stanley's cup should go back into his jockstrap where it belongs. That kind of thing doesn't need to be on national TV.

Nice. The Super bowl shouldn't be on TV either. How interesting can a serving dish be? What's so super about a bowl anyway; I'll take a bread plate any day....
