MSG Ticket Prices

Post by pete00000 »

Looks like prices may be a little more palatable this go round. If I remember correctly last year the cheapest ticket was about $75 with TM service charges.

From TheGarden.com:

Jimmy Buffett

and The Coral Reefer Band

Tickets go on sale Monday, May 14 at 9:00am.

Actually, besides AC those are the most expensive prices of the tour so far. :-?

Hey!
I'd love to see Jimmy in Hoboken!

We have interesting governors in Jersey.

These prices are just insane, 80 bucks more for the good seats just because it's New York, throw in another $25 in service charges, it's $225 for a decent seat, that's way out of our budget these days.

Other than New Yorkers I can't imagine why people would go to MSG for Buffett . . . great for boxing or basketball but I just can't see it. Where do you tailgate? I know I know . . . you go to the bars and drop more money that a Parrot head should to party before a Buffett show. Outdoors ,under the stars man . . . that is what Jimmy should be. I can't help but think he is playing MSG again just to feed his ego . . . I would imagine that any rock star would want to sell out MSG year after year.
the hit and run is as good as any religion around this time of year . . .

Sorry they didn't go to Jones Beach this year - the parking lot is better for tailgating and watching Jimmy with the ocean as the back ground is sooo good - but did manage to get 5 $61 tickets just now on Ticketmaster! Perhaps my faith in the system is back...a bit.

I don't know what that is . . . a street, I assume? Are you being serious - there is a tailgate?

I was seriously thinking about it but over $200 for decent seats,

And the $61 seats are in the nose bleeds so I guess we will be seeing him next year.
I mean to take my wife and keets (4 tix) it will be near $1000 for a concert :o :o :o .

Let's all go see Ozzy!
