MAMB Acoustic

Post by James William »

Hey pholks!

Some of you have my first release "Life on the Gulf" and I am getting ready to work on a follow up. I have the songs written so the fun part is over. The thing I am pondering is wheather to scale down and go more acoustic with my next one and I would like to hear if you perfer the more production sound or a more scaled down, mellow tunes.
I posted a acoustic version of "Me and My Boat" on myspace. (No this isn't a scheme to get folks to visit my space site) I just would like to know what you like and your honest opinion. Take a listen if you would like it's the last song on the site.
I have always loved to hear Jimmy play solo with Ralph or Robert G and that is the approach I am considering for the follow up.
I am going to be recording with Mike from the band "Stars on the Water" since he is now living in Nashville and he's a fabulous guitarist.
Just wanted your thoughts!

I liked the whole sound of Life on the Gulf album.
The production was excellent in my opinion.
Steel drums would be great.
Of course acoustic would be great too.
As usual I'm no help
